Questions & answers

The things founders ask us first

If your question is not here, email us and we will answer it honestly, even when the answer is that we are not the right studio for the job.

Who owns the game, the IP and the source code?

You do. On final payment, all intellectual property, source code, project files and art assets transfer to you in full. We hand over the complete Unity project and the repository, not a compiled build. We keep the right to show the work in our portfolio, and even that we will drop if you ask us to.

Will you sign an NDA before we talk?

Yes, and we will sign yours rather than insisting on ours. Send it over before the first call. If you do not have one, we can provide a standard mutual NDA to get things moving the same day.

How much does a game actually cost?

It depends on scope, but we will not hide behind that. A polished hyper-casual title is a different order of magnitude from a live-ops puzzle game with a metagame and a backend. After a scoping call you get a fixed written estimate, not a range that drifts.

How do payments work?

Fixed-scope projects are split into milestones, typically an upfront deposit followed by payments tied to agreed deliverables. Dedicated team engagements are billed monthly in advance. We invoice in USD and accept bank transfer, Wise and Payoneer.

We are in a different time zone. How does that work?

We are based in Pakistan and work a deliberate overlap with both European and US East Coast hours. In practice that means a guaranteed live window every working day, a shared Slack or Discord channel, and a written update at the end of each day so nothing waits on a call.

What happens after launch?

Every project includes a warranty window after release during which we fix any defect in the work we delivered at no cost. Beyond that, most clients move onto a live-ops retainer for content updates, seasonal events, store experiments and user acquisition. There is no obligation to continue, and you have the source code either way.

Can you take over a project another studio started?

Often, yes. We start with a paid technical audit of the existing codebase and give you a straight answer on whether it is worth continuing or rebuilding. That audit is yours to keep regardless of whether you hire us for the work.

Do you publish games yourselves, or only build them?

Both. We can build under your developer account so the listing and the player relationship stay entirely yours, or we can handle store setup, compliance, age ratings and submission on your behalf. Most founders launching their first title choose the second option.
