1. Who we are
This website, www.kurlybrackets.com, is run by Kurly Brackets (SMC-Private) Limited ("KurlyBrackets", "we", "us", "our"), a game development studio based in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. If you have any question about this policy or about how we handle your information, email us at hello@kurlybrackets.com.
2. Information we collect
- What you send us. When you use our contact form we receive your name, email address and the details you choose to enter: company, country, the kind of help you need, project stage, timeline, budget, your message and whether you would like an NDA. When you request a free store audit we receive your email address and your store listing link. If you email us or message us on WhatsApp, we receive what you send.
- Server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical details of each visit (IP address, browser type, date and time, and the page requested) to keep the site running and secure.
- Spam protection. To stop repeated automated submissions, our contact form keeps a one-way scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address for a short time. It cannot be turned back into your IP address and is deleted within an hour.
We do not use cookies, analytics, advertising or social media trackers on this website. Our fonts and images are served from our own server, so simply viewing the site does not send your information to third parties.
3. How we use your information
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare anything you have asked for, such as a store audit or a quote.
- To manage a project or contract if we work together.
- To keep the website secure and working.
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations.
4. Sharing your information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. Messages from our forms are delivered to us by email, so they pass through our web hosting provider (Hostinger) and our email provider (Google, through Gmail). We share your information with anyone else only when it is needed to deliver work you have asked us for, or when the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for as long as we need them to reply to you and, if we work together, for the length of the project and as long as our legal and accounting obligations require afterwards. You can ask us to delete your enquiry at any time.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@kurlybrackets.com.
7. Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Other websites
Our pages link to other sites, such as app stores, Upwork and WhatsApp. When you follow one of those links, that site's own privacy policy applies.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
